The position
As Business Development Partner, you will provide support to the Strategy & Business Development Manager, the Corporate Vice-President (CVP) areas, and the management teams with analyses and presentations, which they can rely on as a basis for decision making by contributing through application of expertise and knowledge.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Taking ownership of and leading internal back-office business support processes, ensuring continuous improvement and optimization of projects
  • Coordinating with key stakeholders across areas and contributing proactively to the development of objectives, strategies, and policies 
  • Setting direction and driving key processes, including business plans, business review, risk reporting, resource management
  • Maintaining a thorough understanding and overview of ongoing activities, operations, and projects
  • Playing a key role in preparing large presentations for Business Reviews, focusing on clear storyline and key messages
  • Designing and facilitating strategic workshops to support decision-making and problem-solving 

You will also represent GCM Drug Product (DP)/Drug Substance (DS) in relevant business network meetings across External Supply CVP areas.

 

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we believe you to:

  • Hold a master’s degree in business, management, pharmaceutical sciences, biology, or another relevant field
  • Bring experience from a comparable position within a large organisation, coupled with solid business acumen
  • Demonstrate strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Showcase a data-driven thinking, a structured mindset, and high-competency level in MS Office
  • Display full proficiency in both spoken and written English

 

On a personal level, you have outstanding communication skills, proactively connecting with stakeholders at all levels and supporting leadership decision-making. You are able to keep a helicopter view and get energy from driving and optimising projects, while fostering collaboration and business partnering. Skilled in data analysis, you simplify complex information and communicate it in an easy way at all organisational levels. You are creative and innovative, not afraid to challenge the status-quo. Lastly, you are a natural people person with a talent for reading the room, thriving in a supportive team environment.

 

About the Department
In the GCM Strategy & Business Development department we are dedicated to aligning the strategic priorities of Novo Nordisk GCM DP and GCM DS business units. The department consists of three sub-departments covering Business Development, Operational Excellence and Digital, Data & IT, where we play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvements and setting strategic direction across GCM DP and GCM DS.

You will join GCM BD, where we share a nice and fun atmosphere within the team, fostering knowledge sharing, support, trust, and caring for each other.
