As Associate Director of Production Accounting, you will lead the team that turns production activity across DPM IO into accurate, timely and meaningful financial information. Supporting 18 manufacturing sites and Contract Manufacturing Organisations, you will strengthen financial governance, improve transparency and simplify how production finance works. You will support production leaders on operational decisions.

You are likely to bring:

  • A master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Auditing or a related field.
  • Significant experience in production accounting, cost accounting, manufacturing finance, accounting, auditing or a related finance discipline.
  • Proven people leadership experience, including developing high-performing teams and leading successfully through change.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls, governance and compliance requirements, plus experience with financial close, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence across functions, cultures and organisational levels.
  • A structured, improvement-oriented mindset and the ability to simplify complex processes and turn insights into action.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.

 

You are known for your professionalism, integrity and reliability, and you show drive and initiative. You pay attention to detail, yet see through complexity and summarise issues clearly. You stay flexible and open to change in uncertain situations, without compromising on quality.

 

Useful, but not essential:

  • Experience in a complex manufacturing environment.
  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA, digital transformation, automation, data analytics or AI-enabled finance tools.

 

What you’ll do

You will lead and develop production accounting across all DPM IO production areas, balancing stable, well-controlled operations with the continued evolution of how the function works.

 

  • Lead, develop and engage a team of production accounting professionals and specialists, building a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Provide direction and governance across production accounting in all DPM IO production areas, and own production finance compliance.
  • Ensure high-quality product costing, inventory accounting, month-end and year-end close, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Give production and finance stakeholders reliable financial insights that support sound business decisions.
  • Identify and manage financial risks related to inventory, scrap, provisions, variances and production performance.
  • Drive harmonisation and standardisation of processes across production areas, while taking local business needs into account.
  • Strengthen the production account competence across DPM IO network

 

Who you’ll work with

You will join DPM IO Finance, Investments and Procurement, the central finance function supporting the global production areas of DPM IO. These include 14 manufacturing sites, 4 local manufacturing sites and CMO’s You will lead an experienced team with broad stakeholder interaction.

 

Your closest partners will be production leadership, GMS Finance, Supply Chain, Global Business Services and site-based stakeholders. Together, you will create clarity around financial performance, move faster on simplification and make production-related finance processes more transparent. You will also build strong relationships across DPM IO and contribute to the wider Finance leadership agenda.

Salary:  For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 847,000.00 DKK 1,245,100.00 DKK corresponding to the level of the position.

 

The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.

 

Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level,  location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
