Location:

Høje-Taastrup, Capital Region of Denmark, DK

Are you a law or commercial law student who is curious about how supply and outsourcing contracts are drafted and negotiated in a leading pharmaceutical company? Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to obtain hands on experience with commercial contracts in a global context? Are you a fast learner with the ability to work independently? If this sounds like you, then you might be our new full-time Intern in the Sourcing, Negotiation & Contract Management team in Global Manufacturing and Supply division at Novo Nordisk.

Your new role

As a full-time Intern with us, you will become part of a team that handles the negotiation and contract-drafting process – in cooperation with numerous internal stakeholders, especially our colleagues in Category Management and Legal. You will gain practical experience in commercial contract management and be exposed to the negotiation and drafting processes that support one of the world’s leading healthcare companies.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting negotiation and contract drafting processes in close collaboration with stakeholders from Category Management and Legal.
  • Assisting with legal reviews, contract administration and digital contract lifecycle management activities.
  • Contributing to the development and optimisation of templates, systems, communication materials and internal processes.
  • Supporting data management, reporting, analysis and process improvement initiatives.
  • Providing administrative support related to team activities, onboarding, meetings and stakeholder engagement.

The role offers a unique opportunity to gain insight into international supplier collaborations and commercial negotiations while developing valuable business and legal competencies.

Your new team and department

Sourcing, Negotiation & Contract Management is the central sourcing unit in Novo Nordisk’s Global Manufacturing and Supply division, and we are commercially responsible for securing a robust supply chain to safeguard Novo Nordisk’s worldwide pharmaceutical production. We are the commercial sourcing partner to manufacturing and distribution. Through collaboration with our global supplier network, we ensure availability of the supply needed to develop and produce products which help millions of people around the world to better live with chronic diseases.

Our team is the Centre of Excellence within negotiation, and we drive all key and high value negotiations and contractual processes with the category owners. The team is also responsible for providing negotiation training to the organisation. You will join a team of experienced lawyers as well as negotiation and sourcing professionals who will help you get the training and onboarding you need to become successful in the role.

Your skills and qualifications

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you:

  • Are currently studying Law, Commercial Law, Supply Chain or a similar university degree and have completed at least two years of your studies and have minimum 12 months left.
  • Have a strong interest in commercial contracts, negotiation, sourcing and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Demonstrate a structured, proactive and service-minded approach to your work.

In addition, we are looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to learn. The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail will be important. Previous experience working with contracts or contract management systems is considered an advantage, but not a requirement.
