The position
We are looking for a University Collaboration Lead to lead our partnership with a specific research institution. The lead will be responsible for facilitating and driving collaboration between Novo Nordisk's manufacturing areas and the university. This involves working closely with leaders across the entire Product Supply value chain, as well as sustainability, external supply, IT, Quality (Q), and Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls (CMC). Furthermore, the lead will coordinate engagement activities for ongoing research projects and offer guidance to the organization.

 

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Facilitate and enhance Novo Nordisk's manufacturing collaboration with research institutions
  • Lead the process of identifying strategic research needs and gaps across the Novo Nordisk’s value chain together with a group of senior specialists 
  • Securing ongoing endorsement from senior leaders for future research initiatives.
  • Organize engagement activities and support the manufacturing research community, including Ph.D. candidates, Post Doc researchers, supervisors, specialists, and others.
  • Communicating the partnership effectively to internal stakeholders within Novo Nordisk.
  • Monitoring and reporting on the progress of initiatives and projects.

 

Qualifications
You have:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant field as e.g. engineering, business or alike. 
  • 5 years of experience in partnership development, consulting, or strategic roles. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Some experience in working in or with research institutions.
  • Drive and an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and technology forums is a plus.
  • Fluent in English, Danish advantageous.

About the department
The job will be placed in a department called Early Innovation & Strategy. The department is part of AMSAT Technology & Innovation (T&I) with base in Denmark. T&I is app. 130 colleagues who works with innovation and technology development for all of Aseptic Manufacturing and is a key player in defining manufacturing research and external collaboration within manufacturing innovation across the supply value chain. Together we drive change by always looking for innovation for our processes and in the way we work to make our products reach as many patients as possible.
