Shutdown Coordinator - temporary position
Gentofte
Are you passionate about technical project management and building relationships across the organisation? Are you ready to plan, coordinate, execute, and optimise the yearly shutdowns of our Aseptic Filling lines? Would you like to ensure smooth functioning, reliability, and efficiency in production while adhering to safety, quality, and regulatory standards?
Then you might be our Shutdown Coordinator for a 6-month paternity cover to drive shutdowns in Aseptic Manufacturing (AM) at our site in Gentofte within Facility & Utility Projects. Apply today!
Your new role
Our production lines are facing several upgrades driven by the introduction of new products, optimisation initiatives, compliance requirements, and obsolescence of hardware and software. Thus, we are currently looking for a Shutdown Coordinator who is ready to join our Facility & Utility Projects team and handle overall planning, coordination, and execution of summer and winter shutdowns of our Aseptic Filling capacity at site Gentofte, including documentation, ensuring readiness, and releasing filling capacity.
This is a temporary cover position during paternity leave, expected to start as soon as possible and run until the end of January 2027.
Additionally, in the interim periods between shutdowns, you will be managing planning and communication with the various departments, project portfolios, and stakeholders, which is key to ensuring that all activities are accounted for and aligned across the organisation. You can also expect to take a coordinating role in improvement projects within our project portfolio.
Your main responsibilities:
- Planning, executing, and following up on all tasks and processes related to scope, schedule, resources, cost, quality, and project risk
- As a natural part of your projects, being in close dialogue with line of business and all levels of management at our production site, as well as external vendors
- Ownership of shutdown planning, reporting, and documentation
- Identifying and managing key stakeholders and steering groups related to your projects
- Actively contributing with learnings and experiences with the rest of the Facility & Utility Projects team to mature and strengthen our ability to run shutdown projects more efficiently
Your new department
You will be part of Facility & Utility Projects in Production Support within Aseptic Manufacturing (AM) at our site in Gentofte. Our team executes and supports projects across aseptic production, facilities, utilities, and related project activities with minimum impact on ongoing production.
We support aseptic production at site Gentofte, where our complex processes require a high level of expertise, commitment, and engagement. We are producing at full speed on existing lines while building and ramping up new state-of-the-art facilities. We bring value to patients by delivering high-quality GMP-compliant products in a timely and cost-efficient manner. We drive change by working actively with LEAN and by continuously improving both our processes and the way we work together.
Your skills and qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- A BSc or MSc related to Life Science, Engineering, or similar, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- A proven track record in project management, preferably within a technical or manufacturing environment
- Background from a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulated environment is an advantage
- Full proficiency in English, spoken and written. Fluency in Danish is an advantage.
As a person, you have excellent communication skills and demonstrate a structured approach. You are culturally savvy and able to build relations with stakeholders at all organisational levels. You are a self-starter who is capable of setting direction and driving results independently. You easily adapt to a fast-paced environment and are driven by technical complexity. You possess leadership and interpersonal skills and can engage people, build trust, and get commitment from stakeholders to support your projects and drive change. Moreover, you are comfortable in a rapidly changing and dynamic work environment and can prioritise without losing sight of the bigger picture.
