About the department 

You will be joining AP Expansions, which stands for expansions of Aseptic Production (AP). The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approx. 20,000 of Novo Nordisk’s 50,000 employees. 

 

AP Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and built all new aseptic filling capacity across Novo Nordisk to serve needs of millions of patients. We do it by rethinking our aseptic production facilities with the use of modern technology, as we are setting the standards for the aseptic production of the future. Facilities designed today which we will still be proud of 20 years from now. AP Expansions has a clearly global approach, where you will be working with multiple sites and cultures across the world. 

 

The position

As Project Manager in AP Expansions, Tech & Innovation, you will be anchored in the Instant Release department. You will create and own the road map for the full digital batch documentation. You will be analysing and coordinating work on the barriers blocking the way and presenting solutions for approval.

 

Areas of responsibility will include:

  • Manage cross-function projects that supports the Instant Release ambition in AP Expansions
  • Planning and executing all related tasks/processes using standard project tools
  • Drive elements of the quality, digitalisation, and connectivity journey together with the technical work packages, QA and other key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with other functions to secure adequate implementation of project

 

The scope ranges from developing principals that will guide the technology tracks to hardware connectivity. The work requires an open mind with an attention to details and a close collaboration with process SMEs, technology teams, IT/OT and QA across the program.

 

In addition, position involves a high degree of stakeholder management within the organization and with external partners.

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you need to have:

  • A Master’s degree within engineering, pharmaceutical science or similar
  • At least 3 years of project management experience preferable from pharmaceutical industry
  • Certified and experience in applying LEAN, Six Sigma or similar frameworks is an advantage
  • Ability to communicate complex content in a simple way
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
