Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong understanding of intralogistics and warehouse equipment delivery in complex environments? We are looking for a Project Manager to take ownership of a critical intralogistics equipment scope as part of a warehouse expansion project. This is a 12‑month maternity cover position based in Gentofte, offering a central role in a high‑impact aseptic production project.
Your new role
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving an intralogistics equipment work package from detailed design through delivery, commissioning, validation and handover to operations.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Owning and driving the intralogistics equipment work package end‑to‑end, covering both manual material handling and automated solutions such as AGVs and WCS
- Steering the detailed design phase, including requirements clarification, layout and interface alignment, design reviews, and documentation approvals
- Managing suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure technical alignment, quality, and timely decision‑making across interfaces such as IT, automation, facilities, validation and operations
- Planning and supporting commissioning and qualification readiness, including FAT/SAT activities, test protocols, deviation handling and punch lists
- Ensuring strong work package control through scope, schedule, cost, risk and issue management in line with project governance
You will report to the Intralogistics Track Lead and play a key role in securing on‑time delivery and start‑up readiness.
Your new department
You will join Aseptic Production Projects, part of Production Support within Drug Product Manufacturing (DPM) at the Gentofte site. The team consists of experienced project managers working closely together to deliver complex production and warehouse projects in regulated environments. Collaboration across engineering, IT/automation, facilities, quality and operations is a core part of how the team works.
Your skills and qualifications
To succeed in this role, you bring the following experience and capabilities:
- Proven experience as a Work Package Owner, Project Manager or Project Engineer delivering technical equipment scopes in pharmaceutical or manufacturing environments
- Solid experience with intralogistics or warehouse automation solutions such as WCS, ASRS, AGVs or similar technologies
- Strong capability in driving engineering deliverables, design maturity, interface management and commissioning/qualification readiness
- Experience coordinating cross‑functional stakeholders and suppliers across engineering, IT/automation, operations and quality/validation
- Structured project execution skills, including planning, risk and issue management, and stakeholder communication
You communicate clearly, work in a structured and proactive manner, and are able to balance attention to detail with a strong overview of progress and risks. Fluency in English is required.

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 651,000 to 956,900 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.
The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short‑term and/or long‑term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
