The position

In this role you will be a key driver for ensuring that our production equipment meets both internal and external metrology requirements, focusing on compliance and maintenance of their validated state. The role will handle metrology responsibility for all calibrations in the area to ensure that the equipment is ready for production within the pharmaceutical industry's requirements.

As a Metrology Specialist at Novo Nordisk Gentofte, you will also:

 

  • Be a part of the daily support with expert knowledge for handling metrology related incidents, change requests and cross organizational projects. In other words, you will play a key role in systematic problem solving, document approval, providing metrology related inputs, assuring metrology compliance and ensuring that the solutions are in line with requirements and expectations.
  • Analyse measurement data and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Represent metrology department during internal audit and inspections.
  • Develop, approve and maintain documentation related to measurement processes and measuring equipment.

Qualifications

What we are seeking in a potential team member:

 

  • A M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Engineering or Natural science OR possess a Technical Diploma in Metrology.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience within Metrology process and/or setting requirements for measuring processes and/or measuring equipment.
  • Several years of experience within Metrology process within pharmaceutical industry is considered as an advantage.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a regulated production (preferably aseptic production and isolator technology), with deep understanding of GMP and LEAN concept.
  • Experiences within validation of measuring equipment and project work.
  • Having an ability to present complex problems to colleagues with different backgrounds.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

About the department

025 AM GE Production Support is a technical department with approximately 115 employees with many different skills and education, delivering technical services and utilities to the other production departments at site Gentofte in general. Deliveries include Water for Injection (WFI), clean steam, compressed air, various gases, cooling, ventilation, and HVAC. Besides the production and supply of utilities, the department delivers several other services all over Novo Nordisk, e.g., Calibration and Metrology related tasks. The department is responsible for an expansive project portfolio and has a dedicated team to support and deliver on this. It is within this Team Support that we are expanding.
