The position
As a Mathematical Modeller, you will play a critical role in refining our existing model and developing advanced analytical techniques. You will work closely with a small, dynamic team, which is an integral part of our software DevOps application team. Your expertise will ensure that the model operates with optimized performance while adhering to industry regulatory standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team to enhance and refine our existing mathematical statistical model for chromatogram analysis.
  • Work closely with software developers to integrate models within the software environment, ensuring optimal performance and compliance.
  • Leverage solid software engineering best practices, including agile methodologies, continuous integration, and code reviews to enhance collaboration and development speed.
  • Take input from engineering colleagues to improve model accuracy and efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough validation and verification of models in GxP regulated settings.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of experiments to test and improve model efficacy.
  • Prepare thorough documentation and reports of model development processes and validation results.
  • Participate in team meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions to foster a collaborative team environment.

 

Qualifications:

We imagine the ideal candidate has:

  • PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in mathematical modelling, especially in statistical analysis.
  • Familiarity with chromatographic methods and data analysis is an advantage.
  • Experience working in GxP regulated environments is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
