The position
Our team is responsible for the design and configuration of new production facilities in Novo Nordisk. From COMOS to traditional engineering, there are several possible roles you may have on our team – depending on YOUR interests. You will be the bridge between engineering, software, and data management. Here are some additional expectations we have for you in this role:
- You will act as a superuser and support the development of projects in our plant engineering software, including incorporation of the Novo Nordisk numbering system.
- You will develop your engineering knowledge and experience by designing and approving process flow diagrams and other engineering work in our plant engineering system with guidance from our engineering experts.
- You will develop and document workflows for engineers working in COMOS.
- You will monitor the system’s performance, and actively seek user feedback to drive, plan and implement improvements.
- You will collaborate closely with team colleagues, suppliers, and users around the world to secure buy-in, improve end results and provide business solutions in a timely manner.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role we expect you to have:
- An educational background within engineering or software/IT.
- An advanced IT skillset and an interest in learning about plant engineering and software.
- A “we” before “I” mentality and a “can do” approach to whatever challenges come your way.
- An excellent command of verbal and written English and the communication skills to navigate in a complex stakeholder landscape.
- It is a plus if you have experience with one or more of the following: P&ID, E&IC, Siemens COMOS or other plant engineering software, VBScript or similar, database management, XML or REST API
As a person, you take initiative naturally and have a strong personal drive and dedication. You need to bring a good sense of humour to work even when pressure is on, and you thrive in a changing and dynamic environment. You demonstrate attention to detail, and you are structured in your problem-solving approach. Furthermore, you embrace professional and personal diversity.
