Internship – Management Support & Reporting
Global Manufacturing & Supply
Hillerød, Denmark

Join a dynamic IT organisation in Global Manufacturing & Supply, where you will gain hands-on experience supporting management decision-making, working with reporting, automation and AI tools, and contributing to real business impact from day one. This internship offers a high degree of autonomy and the opportunity to shape your own tasks in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Your new role

As an intern in GMS IT API, you will support management operations and play a key role in ensuring effective decision-making and smooth day-to-day management processes. The role is characterised by a high level of independence, as your manager is not always available, giving you significant freedom and responsibility to plan and drive your own tasks.

The internship is from 6-12 months.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing management reports, presentations and decision-support materials (e.g. charts, graphs, dashboards and one-pagers) for management and board meetings
  • Supporting financial administration tasks, including purchase orders, invoice follow-up and cost tracking
  • Supporting the planning, execution and follow-up of management and departmental meetings, including agendas, minutes and action tracking
  • Assisting with ad hoc tasks for the management team and coordinating activities across stakeholders
  • Using and exploring automation and AI tools to make reporting and administrative work more efficient, including Power BI
  • Contributing to standardisation of reporting formats, templates and meeting structures
  • Performing basic analyses to support strategic and operational decision-making

Your new department

In Global Manufacturing & Supply (GMS), we cover the entire value chain – from drug and device development to marketed products. With over 30,000 colleagues worldwide, we are responsible for scaling and delivering life-saving medicines to patients across the globe.

The GMS IT API team enables manufacturing operations through technology, data and information management. As an intern, you will gain insight into how IT supports large-scale manufacturing while working closely with management in a central support role.

Your skills & qualifications

We are looking for a proactive and self-driven student who thrives with responsibility and independence. You bring:

  • Enrolment as a master’s student within a relevant field, such as Engineering, IT or other relevant technical and analytical studies
  • A strong ability to work independently and self-sufficiently, with confidence in taking ownership of tasks and priorities
  • Interest in or willingness to work with Power BI and data-driven reporting
  • Experience from studies or previous roles working with Excel, PowerPoint and/or reporting tools
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in an English-speaking environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities
