IT/OT Project Manager – 12-month maternity cover, Aseptic Production Projects

Gentofte

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and delivery in complex, regulated environments? We are looking for an IT/OT Project Manager to drive the implementation of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) as part of a major warehouse expansion project. This is a 12‑month maternity cover role based in Gentofte, offering a key leadership position within a high‑impact aseptic production programme.

Your new role

As IT/OT Project Manager, you will have overall responsibility for leading the IT track through detailed design, implementation preparation, validation and go‑live readiness for SAP EWM.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the IT track team, including Work Package Owners and project team members, ensuring clear direction, prioritisation and delivery
  • Owning SAP EWM delivery end‑to‑end, from business blueprint through implementation, validation, go‑live and hypercare
  • Ensuring SAP EWM configuration supports both manual and automated warehouse processes and aligns with operational and business requirements
  • Translating business needs into technical requirements and designs in close collaboration with line of business and technical stakeholders
  • Driving structured delivery using waterfall and agile methodologies, while ensuring alignment with overall project governance and milestones

You will collaborate closely with the intralogistics equipment track lead, project leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders across the organisation.

Your new department

You will join Aseptic Production Projects, part of Production Support within Aseptic Manufacturing at the Gentofte site. The team consists of experienced project managers delivering complex production and warehouse projects in a regulated GMP environment. The department works closely across engineering, IT, operations and quality to enable robust and scalable production solutions.

Your skills and qualifications

To be successful in this role, you bring the following experience and capabilities:

  • Proven experience leading IT project tracks or work packages, preferably involving SAP EWM or similar warehouse management systems
  • Strong understanding of technical design, implementation and validation of warehouse management solutions
  • Experience delivering IT solutions in a GMP or regulated manufacturing environment is an advantage
  • Solid experience leading cross‑functional teams and working across business and technical stakeholders
  • Strong project execution skills, including planning, risk and issue management, and governance reporting

You work in a structured and proactive manner, communicate clearly, and are able to maintain delivery focus while navigating complex stakeholder landscapes. Fluency in English is required.
