IT System manager

Do you want to take ownership of IT governance and compliance for IT systems in a highly regulated production environment? Drive and participate in IT optimisation projects on equipment?  As an IT System Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our IT landscape supports stable, compliant, and a future‑ready test- and production environment.

Your new role

As an IT System Manager in API MSAT TPF Pilot Plant, you will be responsible for governance, compliance, and lifecycle management of a portfolio of both business and non‑business‑critical IT systems and computerised equipment. You will work closely with equipment responsible, system managers, and stakeholders across API MSAT to ensure systems meet both internal and external requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Owning IT governance, compliance, and documentation for assigned IT systems throughout their lifecycle
• Planning and performing periodic reviews, risk assessments, and security patching follow‑up
• Be the primary point of contact for IT system‑related topics within API MSAT TPF Pilot Plant
• Driving smaller IT projects and cross‑API MSAT initiatives related to new systems, tools, and processes
• Supporting audits and inspections by setting and maintaining the required IT compliance level

Please note this position is on-site in Gentofte.

Your new department

You will join API MSAT TPF (Technology & Process Facilities), part of Novo Nordisk’s API Manufacturing Science and Technology organisation. The position is in our Pilot Plant in Gentofte consisting of two teams Up- and Downstream. Our key tasks are to run technical campaigns, perform test- and development projects and to run a small production of support proteins. All to support API processes and production with data, knowledge and materials.

You will also represent API MSAT TPF Pilot Plant in a cross‑API MSAT forum of IT System Managers, ensuring alignment and best‑practice sharing across sites.

Your skills and qualifications
We are looking for a structured and quality‑focused professional who enjoys working at the intersection of IT, compliance, and production.

Ideally, you bring:

• A bachelor’s degree in IT, automation, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience within IT System Management, IT compliance, IT security, or IT risk management
• Knowledge of ITIL; experience with ServiceNow and documented project management is considered an advantage
• A proactive, can‑do mindset with the ability to set direction and motivate people, engage stakeholders, and drive tasks to completion with a structured approach
• Strong communication skills in English; Danish is a plus
• Interested in equipment and not afraid of joining colleagues in the facility to listen and learn where to support
• A positive, team-oriented mindset that contributes to a collaborative and well-functioning team

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from DKK 570,200 to 838,100, corresponding to the level of the position. The placement within the salary range will be assessed based on the skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
