Your new role

As IT Solution Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that laboratory IT systems and computerized equipment are implemented, maintained, and continuously improved in a highly regulated environment. Your work will directly support the release of high-quality medicines used by millions of people every day. You will lead IT optimization and continuous improvement across our Quality Control (QC) and Analytical Science & Technology (ASAT) laboratories, with broad ownership and the opportunity to influence how laboratory technologies are implemented and used across multiple sites.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Managing laboratory IT systems through operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement activities
  • Installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting computerized laboratory equipment
  • Leading validation and qualification activities in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Ensuring IT security, data integrity, and compliance with applicable standards
  • Writing and reviewing compliance documentation
  • Providing input to deviations and change requests
  • Participating in audits and inspections
  • Driving and supporting the rollout of new technologies in the laboratories

You will join the Computerised Laboratory Systems department—a team of around 15 highly skilled and dedicated IT Solution Managers with diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise, located in both Gentofte and Bagsværd. Together, we support laboratory analyses that are crucial to ensuring product quality and timely release to patients, delivering reliable results that keep operations in control while continuously looking for opportunities to improve and innovate.

You enjoy working in a regulated environment and are motivated by finding better, smarter ways of working together. We are open to candidates at different levels of seniority, and the role can be adjusted depending on the right candidate—what matters most is your motivation and passion for what you bring.

 

You'll bring with you:

  • A Master's degree in IT, Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Relevant IT experience from a laboratory environment (QC, QA, R&D, or similar)
  • 3–5 years of experience from the pharmaceutical industry or another highly regulated industry
  • 3–5 years of experience working with IT compliance, data integrity, and critical systems
  • Full professional proficiency in English and a willingness to learn Danish

Salary:  For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 651,000.00 to 956,900.00 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.

The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.

 

Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level,  location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
