The Position
As our new Filling Line Technical Specialist, you will join a team of 9 within PS AM Site GE (Product Supply, Aseptic Manufacturing). You'll be the technical expert for our critical filling line handling hemophilia products. Your role combines practical, hands-on work with analytical problem-solving and qualification of new equipment in a GMP-regulated, aseptic environment.

 

Your main tasks will be:

  • Serve as the technical expert for filling line L1, focusing on its performance, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct equipment qualification and handle change requests.
  • Handle deviations and implement preventive measures.
  • Perform systematic problem-solving and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support operator training.
  • Maintain and optimize the technical performance of the filling line while ensuring compliance with GMP guidelines.

Qualifications
We are seeking candidates who fulfil the following prerequisites:

  • Marine Engineer (Maskinmester) or equivalent technical background.
  • Strong technical interest and hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience with GMP or work in a highly regulated environment (biotech/pharma, food industry, or similar) is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of validation, process equipment qualification, and deviation handling.
  • Understanding of how mechanical adjustments and settings affect production flow.
  • Experience with LEAN principles is beneficial.
  • Fluent in English, basic Danish skills are a plus (both written and spoken).

 

On a personal level you are an analytical thinker with a passion for technical challenges and problem-solving. You are curious and structured in your approach to technical issues. You can work independently and take initiative for improvements but you also feel comfortable working in cross-functional teams and building professional relationships. Furthermore, you adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment, and you adept at balancing hands-on technical work with documentation and regulatory requirements.

 

About the Department
Filling Line 1 is responsible for filling Haemophilia products. We are approximately 117 employees spread over 8 collaborating teams. Tech Support is responsible for securing a stable filling line. You will be a part of a great team of people with individual competencies that work together to meet deadlines and team goals. 

 

Furthermore, we are a part of Product Supply Aseptic Manufacturing Site Gentofte (PS AM Site GE), which consists of 7 departments with approximately 800 employees serving people living with serious chronic diseases by producing high-quality filling products. 

 

Today, we provide medicine for people living with rare diseases (like haemophilia). But we are on an exciting transformation towards expanding our established filling production into new product areas enabling care for many more patients. 

 

Future Site Gentofte will be a future-ready launch site, driving change through its broad variety of low- and high-volume filling processes, multi-product operations, and reliable supply of high-quality medicine for patients worldwide.
