The position
As a Finance Partner, you will play a key role in financial management and controlling within one of our production areas while also contributing to central strategic initiatives across Finished Product Manufacturing. Your expertise will support the management team in making data-driven business decisions, ensuring financial performance, and optimizing key financial processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Financial Management & Controlling – Oversee budgets, forecasting, cost analysis, and financial reporting to ensure transparency and accuracy
- Strategic Support – Drive financial planning and performance management, supporting leadership with business cases and senior management insights
- Process Optimization – Continuously improve finance-related business processes and ensure alignment between finance and operations
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement – Work closely with the business area management team and the Finished Product Manufacturing Finance team to enhance financial decision-making
- Mobility & Flexibility – Based in Gentofte, with a planned relocation to Høje Taastrup within a year, and regular travel to Danish sites as required
The job is in Gentofte but will be moving within a year to our site in Høje Taastrup. Furthermore, it is expected that you are available to travel to one of our Danish sites on a regular basis.
The onboarding process will include structured introductions to the management team, finance colleagues, and key business partners, fostering collaboration and enabling the newcomer to contribute to performance management and strategy deployment from an early stage.
You will be paired with a dedicated buddy from day one, providing guidance on financial processes, business operations, and key stakeholders to accelerate integration into the role.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
- An academic degree within business, finance or similar
- 1-2 years of experience within business analysis, business controlling or similar.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Used to work within Excel and PowerPoint is expected, while knowledge within SAP or other major ERP systems and BI skills will be highly advantageous.
- You master English to a professional level as it is the company language.

You demonstrate a continuous high level of responsibility regardless of the size and complexity of the task. As a person you are ambitious, persistent, and proactive and have a high focus on quality and structure. Business Development & Support (BD&S) in Finished Product Manufacturing (FPM) is the team that supports our global production sites with central functions such as Finance, Supply Chain & Manufacturing Strategy, Sustainability & Operational Excellence, and Digitalisation & Performance Management. Based in Gentofte we are more than 50 employees who, as partners and specialists, collaborate with our colleagues worldwide to produce medicine for people living with serious chronic diseases. We have a comprehensive overview ensuring an efficient and reliable support of the FPM organisation and are committed to driving change by identifying hidden potential and anticipating opportunities and challenges before they escalate.
