Finance Intern Position in AM Gentofte, Finance & Investment

The position

As an intern, you will join a team of 8 colleagues working within Finance & Investment. You will gain hands‑on experience by supporting strategic finance initiatives, working with financial reporting and analysis, and helping develop and maintain reporting tools used by the team.

You will work closely with the Finance & Investment Manager and team members, contributing to both analytical tasks and team activities in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:
Supporting the Finance & Investment Manager with strategic finance projects, including data analysis, tracking project progress, and preparing presentations

  • Performing data analysis and supporting the preparation of financial reports
  • Supporting the development and maintenance of reporting and analysis tools
  • Developing and maintaining team SharePoint sites
  • Supporting team meetings and team day planning to help maintain a positive and engaging team atmosphere

The internship requires a minimum commitment of 6 months, with the possibility to extend depending on performance and mutual interest.

 

Your skills and qualifications

We are looking for a motivated student who:

  • Is currently completing a Master’s degree in Finance or Business Administration; a background in Accounting or Controlling is considered a strong advantage
  • Has an analytical mindset and is eager to learn how finance works in practice
  • Is technically curious and quick to understand financial reporting systems and tools
  • Has solid skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Is proactive, structured, and has a continuous improvement mindset
  • Enjoys working collaboratively and contributing positively to a team environment

About the department

You will be part of Finance and Investment team in Aseptic Manufacturing Gentofte. The team manages all finance partnering and investment management activities at the site. This includes driving process excellence, optimal resource allocation, delivering insights and actions based on the available data and being a proactive partner to the organisation.

 

You will join a diverse and high-performing team of 8 colleagues with different business experience levels. We use our varying experience to identify gaps and propose high-quality solutions which continuous improvement and development of the processes and the organisation.
