The Position

As an Environmental and HVAC Supporter, you will play a key role in the HVAC and environmental support of an Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) production, in setting direction in the environmental team, and becoming a go-to person over time. 

 

Our team is focused on the HVAC aspect of the project aimed at constructing a new seeding laboratory. We are also taking the lead in the upcoming facility upgrade and rebuilding project in the cultivation part of the production.

The main tasks will be to:
•    Assist and advise colleagues in their daily responsibilities.
•    Handle deviations using systematic problem solving, while also taking care of change requests and validations.
•    Deliver trainings for colleagues.
•    Work on upcoming new facility projects in our department.

 

Qualifications

The qualifications we value include having:
•    A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical science, food engineering or similar field.
•    Experience with HVAC and/or environmental support within pharmaceutical or another GMP-regulated environment.
•    Experience with writing deviations, change requests, validation, risk assessments and process verification reports. 
•    Experience with driving and executing projects, which is considered a plus.
•    Fluent level of English and an intermediate level of Danish.

 

On a personal level, you have a problem-solving mindset and “can do” attitude with a drive for improvement. Having great communication skills, ability to train colleagues and the skill to build relationships cross functionally are key to succeed in this role.

About the department

M4 Department API is part of Novo Nordisk, which delivers products for the treatment of rare disease such as haemophilia and growth hormone disorders. Our department covers the entire value chain from fermentation of product in the host cell, over column purification to finished freeze-dried product. We are around 130 people collaborating across seven different teams consisting of operators, technicians, IT and academics. 

 

You will join our Environment and Utility team, where you will have 10 immediate collaboration partners with both technical and academic backgrounds. Our areas of responsibility are WFI, HVAC, cleaning, gowning and environmental monitoring and classification of production areas. 

 

We are facing a future with increased demand for our products, increased requirements for our production environment. Thus, we are working on upgrading our facilities as well as a building a new seeding laboratory, why we are looking for an experienced employee that can help driving projects, mentor less experienced colleagues and be part of an exciting future with many possibilities for growth and development.
