The position

As Department LEAN Partner, you will work closely with the department Director and will be part of the management group to have a pivotal role in driving LEAN methodologies, tools, and management systems, to foster a culture of continuous improvement and enhancing knowledge and promoting a LEAN thinking mindset.  
 

You will be involved in:
 

  • Coaching, guiding, coordinating, and supporting shop floor, specialists, and leaders regarding Leader Standard Work (LSW) and participation in management related activities.
  • Enhance production and information processes with classical and statistical tools, including value stream mapping, statistical process control, and more.
  • Improve our digital/automation tools (digitalisation, electronic records and data-capture, robotics, etc.) with responsibility for identification, design, and implementation.
  • Enhance and optimize LEAN tools and systems department-wide, including visual management, problem-solving, standardisation, waste reduction, and more.
  • Promote standardization, learning integration, and effective training as the foundation of operational excellence.
     

You will have the opportunity to participate in our LEAN network, share knowledge, promote strategic alignment, and collaborate with peers in other departments to gain insight into cross-functional tasks and challenges, such as Hoshin Kanri-based target setting and program implementation.
 

Qualifications

Your experiences may include:

  • A relevant academic degree with 2+ years of experience coaching leaders.
  • A solid LEAN toolbox and proven track records of results within a manufacturing environment – preferably in a highly regulated environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills at all levels and experience implementing change.
  • Hands-on experience in improving visual management and driving data-driven decision making.

You are curious and open-minded to new ideas and challenges and possess excellent communication skills with the ability to network and build trust and relationships with senior leaders and employees.

 

About the department

BRD Aseptic Production Gentofte (BRD AP GE) Technical Service is a technical department with approximately 80 employees with many different skills and education, delivering technical services and utilities to the other production departments at Gentofte and Kirke Værløse sites in general. Deliveries include Water for Injection (WFI), clean steam, compressed air, various gases, cooling, ventilation, and HVAC. Besides the production and supply of utilities, the department delivers several other services all over Novo Nordisk, e.g., Calibration and Metrology tasks. The department is responsible for an expansive project portfolio and has a dedicated team to support and deliver on this.
