About the department 

You will be joining a newly formed team in Manufacturing IT which delivers support to our two production sites in Gentofte and Værløse that create products for growth hormone treatments. You will be part of the Gentofte site and will have cross-collaboration with the onsite technical team that primarily provides IT/OT support to site Gentofte, but you will also provide support to Værløse site if needed.


Biotech & Rare Diseases Finished Products (BRD FP GEVA) IT consist of 8 employees delivering IT, OT and PAS-X support. The department is structured in teams with each area of responsibility. The department has approximately 20 colleagues with different educational backgrounds, including electricians, lab technicians, and engineers, all of whom are eager to welcome you.


The position

We can offer you an exciting position with a wide range of tasks that all contribute to ensure that our production site, IT and automation systems run as efficiently as possible and in accordance with regulations.


Automation & IT System Supporter holds an important role in the continuous improvement and optimization of the process regulation aiming for higher capacity and more reliability at our production site located in Gentofte. We like to achieve this by collaborating with project managers and vendors to use new technologies along with innovative ways.


Your areas of responsibility will include:

  • 1st Line Support for employees on the site and escalate tickets to 2nd Line Support in Global IT 
  • Act as a liaison between Global IT Helpdesk and Line-of-Business 
  • Ensure that room facilities are in working order
  • IT training for end users and new employees 
  • Hardware and device swaps for end users 


In addition to the above, you might also need to keep our site updated with newest technology and hardware, ensure that instructions and procedures are up-to-date and meet current GMP requirements, be responsible for creating tickets in ServiceNow system and create User Access to our production facilities.



To be successful in this position, it is desired that you:

  • Have professional experience with process control systems covering different aspects of qualification and validation, preferably in the pharmaceutical or food industry
  • Are pragmatic, eager to learn and motivated individual with positive and can-do attitude
  • Have an academic degree within engineering, production processes, automation or IT is advantageous, but not necessary
  • Fluent in written and spoken Danish


Additionally, you enjoy sharing your knowledge, have quality mindset and solution focus as a natural part of you. You understand the need of precise and timely documentation as a critical safety and quality control component. Interest in new technologies and how to implement them in order to optimize the processes is a plus.
