Do you want to be part of an exciting innovation journey in the Environmental Projects & Support team, where we continuously work to improve environmental monitoring (EM) in one of our most important production facilities in Novo Nordisk?

We are looking for a new colleague with high commitment and an innovative mindset to help us drive EM improvement projects in our facility.

 

The Position

As an Advanced EM Professional, you will have a key role in our Environmental Projects & Support team, where we work on end-to-end implementation projects and help ensuring simple but robust solutions into our EM setup.

You will participate in or lead small and large projects, and manage project scope, plan, resources, risks, and benefits, while securing timely execution. Your tasks will include creating and updating operational and qualification documents and ensuring standard alignments with other Novo Nordisk aseptic production sites. You will handle more complex deviations and change requests as well as room qualifications. Also, you will lead systematic problem-solving activities and ensure that your projects stakeholders are always heard, properly involved and informed.

The main tasks will be to:

  • Work on projects to implement new EM requirements, improvement projects and innovative solutions into our facility
  • Ensure Clean room designs in compliance with authorities and Novo Nordisk requirements.
  • Develop EM sampling programs in compliance with Novo Nordisk requirements.
  • Facilitate and plan EM Risk Assessment workshops and room qualifications.
  • Ensure correct and adequate SOPs, job instructions and training of operators and environmental assistants.
  • Analyse EM data to identify and lead optimization initiatives.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you have:

  • A master’s degree within natural science (e.g. microbiology, pharmacy, chemistry, engineering or similar)
  • At least 2-3 years of strong experience with (aseptic) manufacturing of pharmaceuticals, preferably within environmental monitoring.
  • Previously worked with GMP-regulated documentation, such as qualifications, change requests and deviations.
  • A strong drive to innovative, improve and simplify processes.
  • Ability to set direction and push projects forward.
  • Broad experience with isolator technology would be an advantage.
  • Experience with project management including cross-functional communication and stakeholder management, project planning, risk management and deliverable tracking is also a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in Danish (a must) and English.

About the department

Aseptic Manufacturing, Bagsværd (AM BA) is an aseptic filling factory with approx. 900 employees, where we primarily produce marketed insulin and obesity products, and at the same time help to introduce new insulin types. The factory is wide-ranging and includes, among other things, washing and sterilization, formulation, filling, and inspection of several of Novo Nordisk's productions for the treatment of diabetes and obesity. The production is characterized by complex processes that require employees with high professionalism, great commitment, and a solution-oriented attitude.

The team Environmental Projects & Support is a part of the department for Production Support, EHS & EM in AM BA. The department’s objectives are among others improvement of environment monitoring of the production and implementation of authority requirements. We are a strong team of energetic people with a focus on solving challenges in collaboration with each other and our stakeholders.
