Do you have a strong entrepreneurial drive, curious mind, tenacity and bags of energy? 


Then you could be the person we are looking for to take on this key position within our Obesity business unit, focusing on the NHS market. 


The Position
As a Key Account Manager (KAM) you will work within the Obesity Business Unit to secure access and drive uptake for our first weight loss product within the NHS. You will be covering Midlands & Central England region, which includes West Midlands, East Midlands and Cheshire.


This is a high-profile role, with responsibility for:

  • securing sales, patient access and remodelling care pathways to support system efficiency and improved outcomes for patients living with obesity and its associated conditions. 
  • leading, developing and implementing the strategy for your accounts with both autonomy and support from the Business Unit team members.
  • attending meetings, conferences and events at our Gatwick head office, or in other national or international locations.

 

These are field-based positions where we would normally expect regular travel within your territory. 

 

As a business, we are driving our digital transformation at pace, so the ideal candidate will be a highly skilled communicator who is very competent in the virtual environment. This is of particular importance during current times as all of our sales teams are working remotely. 

 

Qualifications
Using your knowledge of NHS service redesign, you will develop and implement specific objectives based on evidence, health economics and outcomes to optimise use of our products and services. 

 

To be successful, you will:

  • demonstrate your experience of developing strong relationships with key stakeholders at the highest decision-making level leading to mutually successful outcomes. 
  • develop and implement account specific strategies within your locality. 
  • demonstrate a history of working within a target driven environment with a proven track record of meeting / exceeding targets
  • have strong exposure to creating and developing client relationships and a proven track record in new business sales success.
  • ABPI qualified and degree educated in a science or business-related subject, or equivalent.

 

We are searching for a strong proactive profile with outstanding Key Account Management and business planning skills, as well as exceptional commercial acumen. You will be able to manager customer relationships at all levels within your locality and have a strong understanding of the NHS, including structures, policies, funding streams and processes.

 

Candidates will be expected to travel and stay overnight away from home from time to time.
