Integrated Healthcare Manager
Work alongside NHS system leaders to co-develop and implement solutions that improve cardiometabolic outcomes at scale.
Your new role
As an Integrated Healthcare Manager (IHM), you will work at the intersection of NHS strategy, population health and patient access. Operating at Integrated Care System (ICS) and Health Board level, you will partner with system leaders to help shape cardiometabolic priorities and enable the co‑development and implementation of sustainable, evidence‑based service improvements.
This is a customer‑facing, hybrid field‑based role with a limited and clearly defined promotional component. The primary focus is non‑promotional: responding to NHS‑articulated need, building trusted partnerships, and supporting the delivery of system‑wide change that improves outcomes for people living with cardiovascular, renal and metabolic (CRM) conditions.
Day‑to‑day, you will:
- Generate influence at ICS / Health Board level to ensure cardiometabolic conditions are prioritised, using data, insight and population health perspectives
- Lead the development of ICS‑level cardiometabolic plans, reflecting cardiovascular, renal and metabolic priorities, that align NHS needs with Novo Nordisk’s capabilities
- Develop and deliver strategic partnerships and improvement initiatives that address multimorbidity, reduce health inequalities and strengthen NHS cardiometabolic services
- Support pathway redesign and service development, ensuring alignment with national and regional NHS priorities and evidence‑based models of care
- Work collaboratively with NHS Network Managers, providing system context, insight and alignment with ICS priorities, while maintaining clear boundaries between promotional and non‑promotional activity
- Lead non‑promotional Collaborative Working projects in full compliance with ABPI governance and internal processes
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with ICS‑level bodies including Medicines Optimisation, Population Health, Transformation and Commissioning teams to support sustainable system-wide improvement
Your new department
As part of International Operations, you will join our largest operational unit. Covering 194 countries and 95% of the world's population, more than 18,000 of us work passionately to serve 35 million patients each day. With a promise to outperform the competition, we continue to be the growth driver for Novo Nordisk, and to improve health at scale across the globe.
Within the UK, this role sits at the centre of our strategic partnership approach with the NHS. The Integrated Healthcare Manager plays a key role in supporting system‑level change, responding to NHS prioritisation, and enabling timely patient access through credible, compliant and value‑driven collaboration with NHS partners.
This role sits within the Integrated Healthcare and Strategic Partnerships team, part of the Market Access Business Unit. Established in 2025, this is a newly formed, high‑impact team created to respond directly to NHS‑articulated priorities.
The team exists to add value for both the NHS and Novo Nordisk by enabling credible, compliant partnerships that support system change and improve outcomes for patients at population scale. This is a role for someone motivated by patient benefit, NHS need and long‑term, sustainable impact.

You will bring:
- Significant, recent experience of ABPI-compliant Collaborative Working with the NHS, with examples of partnership or transformation projects delivering measurable impact

- Experience within Market Access, system engagement and/or payer‑facing environment, with a strong understanding of national and regional NHS policy and its application at system level
