About the position and department
As IT Support Consultant in Crawley, United Kingdom you will report to IT Operations Manager EMEA North. You would be a part of Global IT Operations team (GITO). IT Support Consultant will be responsible for the management of IT equipment resources, performance of On-Site IT services, and support and collaboration with Global IT Operations. 


You will provide IT services and solutions to Affiliate staff and management, manage the relationship with vendors and partners, as well as actively work and participate in the GITO virtual IT Team set-up. Along with other team members you will work to improve the operational effectiveness and optimise existing services of the company based on user feedback. This is a permanent, on-site position. 

 

Key responsibilities and objectives
In this role you will perform the On-Site IT services and support local IT infrastructure team (ex. responsible together with the Incident Manager for GITO EMEA for resolving local critical incidents). Your focus will be on providing user training and ensuring user satisfaction. You will help the manage IT equipment lifecycle process and assist and collaborate in IT project implementation. IT Procurement tasks are part of the role too.


You will be asked to pay multiple visits to remote affiliate offices and participate in abroad GITO (Global IT Operations) meetings on occasion. You will ensure and work in compliance with Novo Nordisk principles, relevant SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) & legal laws.
This role is for a high performing professional with excellent communication skills and ‘making things happen attitude’ who is open, flexible and customer oriented. 

 

Qualifications
•    University Degree in IT/Computer Science or bachelor’s degree with relevant discipline
•    Appropriate service management program (ITIL foundation certification)
•    Experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow 
•    A minimum of 3 years of IT support related experience is required
•    Good technical knowledge in Microsoft, Window 10, 0365 environment, hardware; infrastructure and IOS devices. 
•    Previous experience working in a 24/7 organisation & willingness to travel on regular basis. 
•    Working in an Agile set-up with Kanban and Scrum teams
•    Fluent in oral and written English
•    Experience working in an international environment is an asset.
