The position

As a Commercial Finance Partner, you will lead on proactively providing relevant and timely finance and analytics insights to the relevant therapy area and ensure robust decision making and contribute to optimal performance in line with strategic priorities.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Stakeholder Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders, providing financial insights and guidance to support strategic decision-making.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop, monitor, and manage budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with the company's financial goals.
• Insights: Lead the sharing of finance and analytics insights to support robust decision-making.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular financial reports to senior management, emphasizing key insights and actionable recommendations. Develop and leverage advanced analytics tools to evaluate performance measures effectively
• Collaboration: Work closely with departmental heads , Finance teams and other stakeholders to provide financial guidance and support.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

• Educated to degree level or equivalent, preferably in a quantitative management discipline.
• Relevant postgraduate qualification in Finance, Analytics, Accountancy, or similar.
• Proven experience in a Finance or Data Analytics role, preferably within healthcare.
• Demonstrable experience in business partnering and stakeholder management.
• Advanced IT skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
• Strong analytical ability and excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of the UK Pharmaceutical market.
• Experience with planning and forecasting tools.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.

About the department

Located in Gatwick, our department conducts the financial and accounting operations of the organization. We prepare, collect, and interpret financial information, manage budgets, reports, forecasts, and statutory returns, and conduct financial analyses of proposals and investments. Our team is responsible for managing the organization’s taxation affairs, cost accounting systems, and cash flow, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. We foster a collaborative atmosphere where leveraging data, business understanding, and interpersonal skills are key to driving value creation for the company.
