Your new role

As a Clinical Medical Manager, you'll be at the forefront of clinical trial excellence, serving as the scientific bridge between Novo Nordisk's innovative pipeline and the clinical community. You'll combine deep medical expertise with strategic thinking to ensure our trials not only meet the highest scientific standards but also build the foundations for successful product launches.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Serving as the local subject matter expert on products and protocols, engaging key opinion leaders to optimize trial methodologies and build long-term relationships critical for product launch
  • Leading scientific aspects of trial planning including National Leader selection, site assessment, and investigator training to enhance recruitment, retention and trial outcomes
  • Gathering and translating actionable insights throughout the clinical trial lifecycle to inform both trial execution and broader product development strategies
  • Providing early medical and scientific input into product development, incorporating the authentic voice of patients and clinicians into our approach
  • Establishing Novo Nordisk's scientific presence in new therapy areas through strategic stakeholder engagement and communication of our pipeline narrative
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Clinical Operations, Medical Affairs, and Regulatory Affairs to investigate strategic partnerships with research centers, healthcare associations and patient advocacy groups
  • Building organizational readiness by co-designing scientific knowledge programs and introducing Medical Affairs colleagues to key opinion leaders, especially during pre-launch phases
