The Position

As a Communications Manager, you develop and execute comprehensive communication plans to support the organization's objectives. You will oversee the creation of engaging content for various communication channels.

Your other responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring consistent messaging and branding across all communication materials by collaborating with internal teams
  • Monitoring and analysing the effectiveness of communication strategies and adjusting them as needed
  • Managing media relations
  • Organising events and activities
  • Coordinating the work with external suppliers i.e.. agencies

 

Qualifications

  • University degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Social studies or Business Management.
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ previous work experience in a strategic communications and/or public affair
  • Project management experience
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills both in English and Finnish languages.
  • Experience in building and maintaining media relationships
  • Experience in working with different kinds of audiences. You hold an extensive network of media contacts.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and navigate complex, sensitive issues.
  • Familiarity with digital communication tools and social media platforms.
  • Pro-activity, entrepreneurial mindset, and ability to challenge status quo are highly appreciated qualities. Ideally you also are a fast in learner, and highly interested in societal questions and public discussion.
