Your new role

 

As our Strategic Partnerships Lead, you'll be building something new from the ground up. In this newly created position, you'll shape how we create innovative access channels and establish strategic collaborations across Ireland's evolving healthcare ecosystem. This is an opportunity to combine entrepreneurial thinking with strategic execution, working at the intersection of commercial innovation and patient access.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Driving the development of the affiliate's channel innovation and strategic partnership strategy from inception to maturity
  • Identifying, evaluating and implementing new patient access and commercial channel opportunities that improve how patients receive treatment
  • Developing strategic partnerships with eHealth providers, pharmacies and other external healthcare stakeholders
  • Building the structure, governance and long-term operating model for this maturing function
  • Leading cross-functional collaboration across commercial, market access, medical and operations teams
  • Conducting market assessments and evaluating emerging healthcare and digital trends to identify future growth opportunities
  • Leading high-level negotiations and partnership discussions with senior external stakeholders, translating strategic vision into actionable business cases
  • Collaborate and liaise with internal regional stakeholders

 

 

Your new department

 

The Irish Affiliate is home to over 60 employees dedicated to making a remarkable difference to patients across Ireland, located on the North side of Dublin. As part of EUCAN (Europe and Canada) within International Operations, you'll be positioned to influence both local strategy and contribute to broader regional initiatives. In this role, you'll report to the Head of Finance & Operations & Strategic Partnerships, working in a dynamic environment where healthcare delivery and patient access models are rapidly evolving.

 

As part of International Operations, you'll join our largest operational unit. Your skills & qualifications

 

We're looking for a commercially astute and entrepreneurial individual who thrives in ambiguity and can build strategic value through innovation and collaboration. You'll bring with you:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience within pharmaceuticals, healthcare or related industries, with a strong background in strategic partnerships, business development, channel innovation or commercial strategy
  • Experience within GLP-1, metabolic health or closely related therapeutic areas (preferred)
  • Proven ability to build and influence relationships with senior external stakeholders, coupled with strong negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Demonstrated success developing new business models, access strategies or commercial channels that create sustainable business value
  • Experience working effectively across cross-functional and matrix organisations
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently and build new structures in fast-evolving environments
  • Excellent communication, analytical, networking and project management skills, with fluency in English

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 89,660 - 143.460 EUR corresponding to the level of the position. The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate's skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.

Incentives and Benefits: The salary package includes short-term incentives, pension, health insurance and other benefits commensurate with the role.

This role is predominantly office based with an expectation of field based activities and some travel nationally and across Europe <10%.
