The position:
As a Key Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and engagement within the Cardiometabolic Sales Division, focusing on our obesity and diabetes portfolio. This position is permanent, based primarily in the South Leinster region (e.g., South Dublin, Kildare, Wicklow, Wexford).
Your main accountabilities will be:
- Unlock business opportunities by identifying, targeting, and building relationships with relevant specialists influencing the treatment of obesity.
- Coordinate multi-channel customer engagement initiatives towards healthcare professionals in your defined territory.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access) to facilitate effective strategies and educational activities.
- Maintain strong business ethics ensuring all activities align with company regulations and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- To be successful in this role, you have:
- A Life Science Degree or equivalent is required.
- Experience in Cardiology highly desirable
- 5+ years of sales and/or marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a demonstrated ability to build strong relationships.
- Familiarity with marketing strategies to support the portfolio and knowledge of cardiometabolic treatments is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills with a pro-active and collaborative mindset.
