Business Manager & Executive Assistant

Ireland, Dublin

Lead strategic operations and drive excellence across one of our fastest-growing global regions.

Your new role

As Executive Assistant & Business Support Manager, you'll be a key business partner to the GM and Leadership team in Ireland. Ireland is a stand alone affiliate working as part of Business Area West, playing a pivotal role in shaping how we deliver on our mission. This isn't a traditional support role – you'll lead cross-functional projects, drive operational excellence, and represent leadership across the organisation.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as a strategic sparring partner to the General Manager and Leadership Team, providing insights that inform critical business decisions
  • Leading and coordinating key cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and timely delivery
  • Designing and optimising business processes to enhance efficiency and drive operational excellence across the department
  • Planning and executing management meetings, Business Review Meetings, and Operational Reviews, preparing presentations and ensuring follow-up on actions
  • Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships across teams and departments, securing buy-in and collaboration for strategic initiatives
  • Owning the local Governance Model and driving continuous improvement initiatives that deliver measurable impact
  • Representing senior leaders in day-to-day activities and cross-organisational engagements with the Business Area, Region, and International Operations

Your new department

You'll be part of the Irish Leadership team. The role will have touchpoints with the BA leadership team, but your primary focus will be supporting the local Irish business – a dynamic environment where your strategic thinking and operational excellence will directly impact how we serve patients across Ireland.

Your skills & qualifications

We're looking for an experienced professional who thrives in complex, fast paced environments and can balance strategic thinking with meticulous execution. You will bring:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related fields (advanced degree preferred) and 6–8 years of experience in business support, executive assistance, or administrative leadership
  • Proven leadership capabilities, with experience managing and inspiring teams in medium to high complexity contexts
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to design solutions aligned with organisational goals and operational efficiency
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills, with experience preparing impactful materials for senior leaders
  • Solid project management and process optimisation experience, leading cross functional initiatives and driving continuous improvement with resilience and attention to detail
