The Position

As a Brand Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategy, planning, and execution of marketing activities for Ozempic® in the UAE. You will be responsible for building a strong brand presence by ensuring strategic alignment, effective promotional campaigns, and seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams. Your role is critical in ensuring growth, market leadership, and brand equity through innovative and insights-driven initiatives.

 

Additional Responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Medical, and Commercial teams to enhance brand visibility and performance.
  • Track and ensure flawless execution of brand campaigns and messaging across field force activities.
  • Analyse market data and translate insights into actionable strategies and marketing tools.
  • Identify opportunities based on market trends, customer needs, and sales performance; lead key congress and event participation.
  • Drive brand awareness through stakeholder engagement, KOL collaboration, and cross-functional coordination.

You are a strong communicator and collaborator who can align multiple stakeholders behind a unified vision. Your ability to lead through influence and data-driven insights makes you an asset to any cross-functional team.

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Medicine, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5–7 years of strong experience in brand marketing/marketing within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Proven expertise in managing both mature and launch brands across their life cycle.
  • Strong cross-functional business understanding and collaboration experience.
  • Proficient in analyzing market data, executing campaigns, and forecasting performance.
  • Excellent communication in English, both written and verbal, and Arabic is a plus

You will be part of the Diabetes & Rare Diseases Business Unit at Novo Nordisk UAE, reporting to the Head of Marketing – Ozempic®. The department is focused on accelerating patient outcomes by delivering strategic, patient-centered brand solutions in one of the world’s most important therapy areas.
