The position
This is a 1-year contract-based position with the possibility of a 1-year extension and regularization based on performance assessment. The sales territory coverage areas are Daegu and Gyeongbuk, and the role involves executing the sales and marketing strategy to achieve the company's business and financial targets for the Obesity brand, improving the treatment experience for people living with Obesity across the Patient Journey.
Key tasks include, but not limited to: 

  • Driving Sales: Deliver given sales performance versus targets & marketing objectives. Develop and manage long term relationships/networks with HCPs and KOLs. Detail follow up and call evaluation on field visits. Ensure high quality call (planned field days). 
  • Analysis & Planning: In-charge of proactively conducting customer segmentation and targeting to find out right customers for right patient of Obesity. Develop and adjust call plan to exploit new business. Collect, store & report data about customers, field activities including competitor activities.
  • Customer engagement & Disease awareness: Participate in congress promotional activities and symposia. Develop customer awareness of Novo Nordisk in the area of obesity. Provide standard medical information in response to clinical requests.
  • Functional collaboration: Work with product manager and commercial manager towards territory business planning and the identification of new business opportunities. Provide feedback to product manager for the development of the local marketing strategy, product positioning, communication and support services.
  • Compliance: Work according to business ethic procedures, local laws, NN Way and NN policies and guidelines. Building and strengthening customer relationship with key stakeholders.

 

Qualifications

  • Graduate University or same level of educational background.
  • Min 3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry or related industry like medical devices or healthcare industry.
  • Proven track records of sales success within industry.
  • Territory sales analysis and territory management will be critical.
  • Experience in out of pocket market - desirable.
