About the Department

 

You will join the Insulin & Biopharm Business, and contribute in achieving sales target as a whole, by efficient and effective promotion of Novo Nordisk products to healthcare professionals. This position will be based in Colombo, covering the key cities nationwide, and will report to Country Manager.

 

 

The position

 

As an integral member of Novo Nordisk business, you will manage a defined territory and responsibilities will include:

 

  • Promote Novo Nordisk products to medical doctors and industrial LGUs, and plan, organize and implement sales, marketing programs for maximum effective coverage, with a complete round of the accounts every promotional cycle.
  • Tap new potential accounts for inclusion and drive inclusion of current and future product portfolio in current accounts
  • Establish and build good relationship with Medical Doctors and Pharmacists, as well as organize seminars and scientific meetings in industrial accounts and LGUs
  • Conduct prescription survey and Medical Doctor's usage preference checks to determine impact of his/her promotion
  • Submit sales report in time, and utilize tools given efficiently and effectively.
  • Work according to Business Ethics procedures, local law, Novo Nordisk way and policies, quality standards and guidelines 

 

Qualifications

 

  • A college degree preferably Science related
  • At least 2 years of key account management experience, preferably within pharmaceutical industry
  • Highly independent and take initiatives to improve strategies
  • Professional, self-motivated, team player, resilient, passionate, solution oriented in a dynamic environment  
  • A strong will to win and has a proven track record in pharmaceutical sales
  • Knowledge and experience of the disease area would be an additional advantage
  • Possess effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge and experience of the local healthcare landscape and customers would be an additional advantage
  • Willing to be mobile
