Your new role
As a Senior Medical Representative within the Cardiometabolic department, you will work at the forefront of our engagement with healthcare professionals, combining strong commercial execution with high-quality scientific dialogue to drive impact for patients.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Achieving territory sales and market share objectives by promoting Novo Nordisk’s cardiometabolic portfolio to healthcare professionals
  • Supporting the development and execution of a robust Territory Business Plan aligned with the overall promotional strategy
  • Building and maintaining long-term, trust-based relationships with physicians, pharmacists, opinion leaders, and other key stakeholders
  • Providing timely, accurate medical and product information, acting as a valued partner to healthcare professionals
  • Representing Novo Nordisk at congresses, meetings, and scientific events
  • Analysing sales performance, call activity, and market data to continuously optimise plans and results
  • Gathering and sharing market and competitor insights with the Business Area Manager to support strategic decision-making

 

All activities are carried out in full compliance with ethical standards, company procedures, and local regulations.

You will be based in Cluj, Romania and report directly to the Manager for Field Sales. 

 

Your new department
You will be part of the Cardiometabolic Sales Area in Romania, a dynamic and dedicated team committed to improving the lives of patients. Our team focuses on promoting Novo Nordisk’s innovative products and building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, pharmacies, hospitals, and other public institutions. Based in Romania, you will join a fast-paced and collaborative environment where your contributions will directly impact our mission to drive better health outcomes for patients.

 

Your skills and qualifications
We are looking for a motivated professional who brings both commercial drive and a strong sense of responsibility. In addition to a proactive attitude, you’ll bring with you:

 

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, biology, sales, management, or another relevant discipline
  • At least 3 years of sales experience, preferably within the pharmaceutical or FMCG industry
  • Solid knowledge of the local pharmaceutical market
  • Strong selling, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • The ability to plan, prioritise, and adapt effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Confidence in analysing and using data to drive performance and decision-making
