In Clayton, NC, we now operate two adjacent pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities that are responsible for fulfilling different steps in our injectable and oral treatment supply chains. 

Our Clayton, NC Injectable Finished Products (IFP) facility is a 457,000 square foot aseptic "fill and finish" site that is responsible for producing innovative, injectable diabetes and obesity treatments. Position Purpose

The purpose of the role is to lead the development and improvement of IFP Site Clayton Supply Chain Master Data including Planning, Warehousing, Procurement, & Shipping. Included in this role: Serve as a technical expert, Steward, Super User and lead for Supply Chain Master Data for the site. Responsible for the coordination of Product Transfers including the feasibility assessments, Supply Chain set up and Production set-up.



  • Execution of Site Clayton Product Transfer plan
  • Manages local master data creation, development & maintenance processes
  • Establishes and maintain standards, SOPs & requirements for Site CL master data
  • Interprets Supply Chain Management-related data using a wide variety of techniques ranging from simple aggregations & statistical analyses to complex data mining & forecasting techniques
  • Creates transparency in the Supply Chain by developing metrics & monitoring systems to track, analyze, & improve Master Data quality, Transaction Data timeliness, & adherence to global standards
  • Ensures that all Master Data and Product Transfer project goals are accomplished according to project timeline & business specifications
  • Analyzes, develops & optimizes logistics workflow processes to improve production, distribution, communication, & inventory levels
  • Trains, supports, & coaches Site CL on SAP
  • Coordinates and manages Master Data work with GBS, CoreMasterData, and other corp. groups
  • Participates in Area Responsible Super User (ARSU) meetings & workshops
  • Additional duties, as assigned


Required Qualifications

  • BS/BA in Supply Chain Management or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Supply Chain or Production Planning or Supporting Manufacturing
  • Excellent computer skills including advanced skills in Excel, SAP APO, & SAP ECC


Desired Qualifications

  • MBA preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of SAP experience in modules APO (Advanced Planning & Optimization), ECC (ERP Central Component), & Business Intelligence or experience with equivalent ERP system
  • SAP Certification
  • Proven project management skills
  • Demonstrated experience in systematic problem solving & process improvement methods
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills; good presentation skills


Physical & Other Requirements

  • Must be able to work night, weekends &/or holidays when needed to support a 365/24/7 manufacturing site
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 10% of the time is required
