In NC, we operate three pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities that are responsible for fulfilling different steps in our injectable and oral treatment supply chains. Our Product Supply Aseptic Manufacturing (PS AM) facility in Clayton, NC is a 457,000 square foot aseptic "fill and finish" site that is responsible for producing innovative, injectable diabetes and obesity treatments. The Position
Lead and oversee the development and implementation of a standard spare part management strategy and related practices across multiple production facilities empowering a pro-active approach to equipment maintenance and reliability.

Essential Functions
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Global Spare Part Management Excellence Program, develop roadmap for implementation and lead, coach, mentor and support manufacturing sites to implement
- Drive the Global Spare Part Management Program, objectives, vision and targets
- Measure performance of Spare Part Management, communicate success and drive remediation actions with sites
- Track Global Spare Part Management Program progress, problem solve/escalate roadblocks
- Design and lead Global Spare Part Management Program governance within the overarching Aseptic Manufacturing (AM) On-site maintenance Program led by Aseptic Manufacturing Engineering (AME)
- Design communication and change management plan for global project implementation
- Design AM future spare part management strategy, including - depending on part criticality - roles and responsibilities between sites and AME, spare parts sourcing and stocking guidelines and rules, use of digital tools and synergies across sites
- Design simplified spare part management processes, including purchasing, inventory management, replenishment, flow management based on AM and industry best practices
- Define the level of standardization of spare part management practices in AM (e.g., existing vs new assets and platforms)
- Remain current on all relevant technology advancements and developments in the industry
- Support and control integration of AM spare part roadmap in each site local roadmap (e.g., local Hoshin and initiatives)
- Coordinate Program with internal (e.g., sites, AME, FFEx, DMD, DDIT) and external stakeholders (e.g., suppliers)
- Co-build with sites AM spare part budget
- Ensure technical training programs are established and deployed for spare part management
- Ensure sites have the right resources (staffing and skills) to execute spart part management
- Follow all safety & environmental requirements in the performance of duties
- Other duties as assigned
Physical Requirement
Ability to work in an open office environment with the possibility of frequent distraction. Ability to travel up to 30% of the time. (% can change on a case-by-case basis based on the role.)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Maintenance, or a relevant field of study from an accredited university required
- May consider an associate’s degree in engineering, Maintenance, or a relevant field of study from an accredited university with a minimum of twelve (12) years of experience in spare parts management required
- Minimum 10 years of experience within Materials Management, Maintenance Management, Lean and/or Reliability required, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Proven experience in Project management of Materials Management / Reliability Excellence programs required
- Proven experience working within CMMS for maintenance/spare parts management required (SAP PM /MM Preferred)
- Certification in Reliability / Asset Management (e.g. CMRP, CRL) or Lean 6Sigma preferred
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization required
- Highly analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex and critical issues required
- Flexible, adaptable, and resilient, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment required
