In Clayton, NC, we now operate two adjacent pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities that are responsible for fulfilling different steps in our injectable and oral treatment supply chains. 


Our Clayton, NC Injectable Finished Products (IFP) facility is a 457,000 square foot aseptic "fill and finish" site that is responsible for producing innovative, injectable diabetes and obesity treatments. Position Purpose

Supports the administration of compensation programs, policies, & procedures that are consistent with the Company’s goals, compensation philosophy, & total rewards framework. Assists with analysis & recommendations on interpretation of compensation & rewards policies, programs, & practices. Provides consultation & guidance regarding administration of compensation-related processes & initiatives, requiring established knowledge & experience in the discipline.

 

Accountabilities

  • Supports Rewards Center of Excellence (COE) in analysis & evaluation of jobs, government regulations, & organizational policies to make recommendations regarding titles, job level, & incentive targets, in order to maintain equitable & market competitive levels & pay rates within the organization
  • Support job description process, maintaining master copies within job description management tool
  • Responsible for ensuring data integrity of HR & payroll systems by providing complete & accurate data to system administrators. (i.e., PCN data forms, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance & audit readiness to include supporting internal audit on all compliance requirements (i.e., Job descriptions)
  • Coordinates with HRBP’s & other stakeholders to identify needs & work with Rewards COE to provide requested analysis such as Career Ladders & Job Description Reviews
  • Partners with Rewards COE & Talent Acquisition to provide compensation guidance on job offers as needed
  • Support GBS team in compensation survey participation for the purpose of maintaining the Company’s competitive position within the marketplace & ensuring that we have access to relevant market data to benchmark & market price our jobs
  • Support Rewards COE in compensation analyses; identifies trends & insights & translates data into clear actionable insights & recommendations
  • Participate as a team member on expansions & department restructures providing additional support, guidance, & training materials to facilitate successful hiring
  • Consults with North America Rewards COE, local P&O directors & HRBPs on a variety of compensation/rewards topics
  • Ensure adherence to company policy in fair & equitable pay positioning, fairness, transparency & consistency
  • Participates in compensation-related projects on a global, regional, & local level requiring initiative, project management, partnering with appropriate internal & external resources, & ensuring that projects are on-time & achieve the desired goals & objectives
  • Recommends improvements to rewards/compensation processes
  • Supports NA affiliates for mid-year promotion/progression compensation planning, by creating & maintaining standard & organized processes aligned to the LOB needs
  • Responsible for AskHR article maintenance for compensation & rewards. Provide input/prepare Rewards Operations communications
  • Support Rewards COE in ensuring effective, accurate, generation & distribution of complex reports; statistical summaries regarding compensation, & other related rewards information
  • Conduct training in relevant areas of expertise
  • Utilizes technology (Success Factors, MarketPay, SAP HR) to support the organization’s compensation programs
  • Ensures that laws, regulations, & compensation programs are followed appropriately & consistently in all HR practices & decisions
  • Tier 2 AskHR case management
  • Other accountabilities, as assigned

 

Required Qualifications

  • BS/BA Degree or an equivalent combination of education & industry experience
  • Proven experience in information technology
  • Thorough knowledge of compensation philosophies & practices
  • Ability to coach & train others
  • Ability to identify new approaches & procedures for continuous improvement
  • Thorough knowledge of laws affecting compensation programs

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in compensation & rewards programs
  • Proven expertise in organizing information & resources for successful reporting & communications to support core processes

 

Physical & Other Requirements

  • Occasionally moves equipment &/or supplies weighing up to 33 pounds within the facility using various body positions
  • Constantly operates a computer & other office equipment using hands
  • Ability to work in an open office environment with the possibility of frequent distraction
  • Ability to work the hours necessary to support a 24/7 continuous manufacturing operation
  • Ability to work with a high level of confidentiality. (Mandatory)
  • Ability to handle stress & work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel internationally, up to 10% of the time
