Our new Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) facility houses the Fermentation, Recovery and Purification in the production of ingredients for Novo Nordisk’s innovative oral products. Are you ready to help make what matters? Then, we are ready for you!


Position Purpose

Administrative Assistant in carrying out clerical, administrative & process support. Assists the Director &/or Department Leadership Team in document controlling, scheduling, meeting logistics, travel coordination, presentation development, & KPI tracking.



  • Follow all safety & environmental requirements in the performance of duties
  • Assist in the collection, entry, tracking, & reporting of KPIs
  • Assist with completion of projects or non-conformities requiring data processing, filing, collection of data, etc.
  • Assist in document controlling
  • Assist Project Managers with meeting minutes, weekly reporting, CR administration
  • Serves as ISOtrain, SharePoint, Info Center Board, GlobeShare coordinator
  • Coordinate & assist in the updating of SOPs
  • Setting up & maintaining filing system for documentation in accordance with 5S principles
  • Order & maintain supplies needed to support the area
  • Administrative support to the Department Leadership Team, as required
  • Other accountabilities as assigned


Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)


Desired Qualifications

  • AA/AS/AAS degree or courses in business, office administration, or related topic
  • 5 or more years as an Administrative Assistant or Production Coordinator
  • Ability to read/write/understand complicated production & GMP documentation
  • Written & verbal communication skills to allow interaction will all levels of operations & management
  • Ability to organize GMP related documentation with exceptional attention to detail
  • Anticipate project needs to ensure all required assistance, support systems, & documentation is available


Physical & Other Requirements

  • Ability to work in & around an active construction site during project phase
  • Ability to move throughout the facility in the performance of duties in proximity to process equipment & process areas
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs. with assistance
  • Ability to work flexible hours, on occasion, to support 24/7 operations
