 NNPILP Early Talent Summer Internship Program 

 

The Program 

At Novo Nordisk, interns will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced industry professionals and gain valuable, hands-on, full-time work experience.   For ten weeks, interns will be immersed in the environment of a global pharmaceutical company and contribute to the line of business by providing sustainable and meaningful project work.  Our internship program also includes instructor-led trainings, a leadership engagement series, as well as insightful lunch and learns.  

 

Program Start: May 17, 2027

Program End: July 23, 2027

 

Scope of Position 

The Clean Utilities and EM Intern will support the Clean Utilities and EM team with a variety of engineering, continuous improvement, and data-focused tasks and projects.

The internship provides hands-on experience working alongside experienced engineers and system owners to design, plan, and execute optimization and improvement initiatives that support team needs.

Work will occur in both office settings and within a highly regulated GMP facility.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

-Support engineering and improvement projects for Clean Utilities and EM systems, including troubleshooting support, documentation updates, and project execution activities.

-Assist in optimization and continuous improvement efforts by contributing to scope development, investigation support, and solution implementation under guidance from senior engineers and system owners.

-Contribute to data management and reporting, including organizing datasets, maintaining data integrity, and preparing inputs for analysis.

-Develop and support data visualization outputs, such as dashboards, charts, and trend views, to enable clear performance monitoring and decision-making.

-Prepare and maintain documentation for project activities, including summaries, meeting notes, work records, and supporting materials aligned with team requirements.

-Execute assigned tasks safely and compliantly within a GMP environment, following applicable procedures, standards, and site requirements.

-Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders as needed to gather information, support investigations, and ensure project deliverables are on track.

 

Physical Requirements 

  • 0% overnight travel required. 

 

Qualifications 

  • Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree. Engineering, life science, or related majors preferred.
  • Must be a rising junior, or rising senior with a 3.0 GPA or above.
  • Excellent computer skills to include: Proficiency in Excel, Word & familiarity/capability in most other Microsoft Office applications.
