Position Description
As a Service Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Manage the IT Security services and ensure they are obtained according to contractual obligations with vendors.
  • Evaluate feasibility of concepts and services from vendors and adapt them to meet Novo Nordisk's needs. Initiate and execute contractual negotiations for existing and new services
  • Develop and implement the right service strategy for the respective IT security service. Actively participate in defining service strategy, service roadmap, and risk management in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant internal and external requirements.
  • Bridge the gap between end users' needs and the vendor supplying the service, ensuring competitive terms.


Required Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Information technology, Business Administration) · Master of Technology in a relevant field would be preferred. 
  • 4-5 years of experience in IT and hands-on experience as a Service Manager.
  • Good exposure to IT specific applications related to Security or Infrastructure is required. 
  • Hands-on experience in managing ITIL / Agile Process in Service delivery.
  • Experience managing costs, licenses, and support for vendors and technologies such as CyberArk, Splunk, Tenable, AWS, Azure, Microsoft, HP, Dell, vmWare, is desirable Redhat.
  • Advanced level of English and Spanish is required.


About the department
The Service Manager role is part of the Global Information Security department at Novo Nordisk. Our department is responsible for managing and performing work associated with the analysis, design, implementation, operation, deployment, and support of the organization's information technology resources, telecommunication systems, and software/database products. We work closely with internal staff, outsourcing staff, and consultants to ensure the security and integrity of our IT systems and services. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and maintenance of IT systems and services, while also ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
