The Position 

Reporting to the General Manager for México, you will be a part of the Leadership Team and be jointly responsible for the Affiliate’s results. Your responsabilities will include:

  • Providing the VP & General Manager support within the financial area and overall business and have a dotted reporting line to the VP Finance & Operations LATAM. 
  • Accounting, finance, treasury, tax and facilities, ensuring the provision of financial information and necessary support for decision-making.
  • Initiate and implement policies and processes to enhance the financial performance of the company in accordance with strategic objectives. You will optimise the financial resources of the company to maximize shareholder wealth.
  •  Management and oversight of the Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement, and IT departments. You will ensure optimal working of and investments in IT and administrative departments. You will oversee Procurement functions and support sourcing activities in line targets of the affiliate. 

 

Qualifications 

  • You have a University Degree in Accounting or Finance or other relevant area with minimum 7 years of experience in Finance, and at least 2 years within a senior leadership position, ideally from a pharmaceutical corporation. 

  • You have experience with budget procedures, financial analysis, collections and knowledge of local tax. A good understanding of legal contracts and ability to understand international business will be preferred.  

  • Business understanding. Strategic business thinking and ideally understanding of the dynamics of the private and public market in Mexico. 

  • Fluent English. Spanish proficiency is preferred.  

  • You are experienced with managing others, coaching, and giving feedback.
