Real World Evidence and Health Economics and Outcomes Research Senior Manager - GBS Mexico

Novo Nordisk is strengthening its Clinical Data Science & Evidence capabilities within Global Business Services (GBS) Mexico. We are looking for a Senior Manager to lead and contribute to Real World Evidence (RWE) and Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) activities, playing a key role in generating impactful evidence that supports decision-making across the organization.
This role combines people leadership with hands-on scientific contribution, offering broad exposure to cross-functional stakeholders and meaningful impact on patient outcomes.
Your new role
The Senior Manager, RWE & HEOR will lead a small team of project managers and medical writers within CDSE GBS Mexico, while also acting as an individual contributor when technical expertise is required. The role partners closely with Therapeutic Area (TA) Leads and global stakeholders to support evidence generation strategies and execution. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, mentoring and developing a team of RWE/HEOR professionals, ensuring high-quality delivery and strong performance.
- Providing scientific, strategic and technical input across RWE, HEOR and selected clinical trial-related activities, including local study execution when needed.
- Collaborating with Therapeutic Area Leads and cross-functional partners such as Medical Affairs, Regulatory and Clinical teams to align objectives and priorities.
- Supporting project and operational management activities, including tracking deliverables, key performance indicators, risks and process improvements.
- Driving collaboration, knowledge sharing and best practices across the CDSE GBS Mexico team to enhance efficiency and impact.
Your Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor`s Degree in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, public health or a related field. Master`s/Advanced Degree will be considered as a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in Real World Evidence, HEOR and clinical trials, gained in pharmaceutical companies and/or Contract Research Organizations (CROs).
- Demonstrated people management experience, with the ability to lead, coach and develop teams.
- Strong scientific and technical expertise, with the ability to contribute hands-on when required.
- Experience working in cross-functional and international environments.
- Solid stakeholder management, communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in obesity or cardiometabolic diseases is considered a strong plus.
- Fluency in English is required;
