The Position 

As a Medical Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will: 

  • Lead the development and execution of the medical strategy for obesity, with a strong focus on continuous medical education for already-prescribing specialists. 

  • Design and implement scientific messaging, ensuring alignment and engagement with key opinion leaders and speakers. 

  • Collaborate closely with a large cross-functional team (Marketing, Medical Excellence, Sales) to drive coordinated execution. 

  • Support the expansion into non-obesity indications (e.g., cardiovascular, renal, heart failure), emphasizing benefits beyond weight loss. 

  • Ensure high-level, hands-on execution excellence in a rapidly growing and competitive therapeutic area. 

 

Qualifications 

We are looking for a candidate who meets the following criteria: 

  • Medical degree required; alternatively, a degree in Health Sciences with a postgraduate specialization in a relevant field (e.g., obesity). 

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) or similar medical affairs role. 

  • Prior experience in the obesity or cardiometabolic therapeutic area is strongly preferred. 

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken. 

  • Willingness to travel regularly, whether based in or outside of Mexico City.

You will be part of the Cardiometabolic department in Mexico, a team dedicated to improving patient outcomes in obesity and related cardiometabolic conditions.
