Your new department

You will join a team dedicated to ensuring our scientific knowledge is translated into meaningful strategies that support patients and healthcare professionals. As part of the Medical team, you'll bridge science and strategy, working at the intersection of evidence, education and engagement to bring life-changing treatments to those who need them most.

Your new role

As our Medical Manager Cardiometabolic, you'll act as a scientific and strategic leader across the cardio-metabolic portfolio, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex medical science into clear, compliant and impactful strategies. This position requires strong leadership without authority, excellent communication skills and the maturity to represent the affiliate as a credible scientific voice in upcoming launches and key medical initiatives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading and executing the local Medical Strategy for the Cardio-Metabolism portfolio
• Translating complex scientific data into clear, evidence-based strategies that guide Marketing, Sales and other stakeholders
• Designing and executing KOL engagement strategies and medical education activities
• Serving as a credible scientific representative in medical education, advisory boards and key initiatives
• Partnering cross-functionally to drive alignment, transparency and joint ownership

Required experience

This role is intentionally designed to balance scientific credibility with leadership, communication and influence. We're looking for a professional who can successfully combine both scientific depth and stakeholder engagement. You'll bring:

• Medical Degree (MD strongly preferred)
• Solid experience in Medical Affairs within pharma, ideally in Cardio-Metabolism or chronic diseases
• Strong ability to simplify and communicate complex scientific concepts
• Proven capacity to influence without formal authority
• High level of maturity to manage challenging conversations and pushback
• Strong teamwork mindset and cross-functional collaboration

Nice to have

• Experience supporting or leading product launches
• Exposure to regional or global stakeholders
• Postgraduate studies (Master’s or similar)
