Your new department

You will be part of the Legal, Ethics & Compliance function in Mexico, supporting a dynamic and high-impact organization. The team plays a critical role in ensuring compliance, enabling business growth, and safeguarding ethical standards across key functions including Clinical, Medical, Marketing, Market Access, and Commercial Operations.

 

Your new role

As Legal & Compliance Clinical Manager, you will act as a trusted legal business partner, providing legal and compliance guidance across multiple areas of the organization. This is a broad, cross-functional role with exposure to different parts of the business, where your ability to balance legal risk with commercial needs will be critical.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing legal and compliance advice to stakeholders across Clinical, Medical, and Regulatory
  • Supporting corporate governance and local legal processes
  • Advising on competition law and general legal matters
  • Acting as a business partner, enabling decision-making while ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Partnering with regional/global teams when required
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and mitigate risk

 

Required skills & qualifications

We are looking for a strong legal professional with a business-oriented mindset, capable of operating in a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment.

You'll bring:

  • A law degree and solid experience in Legal and Compliance within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong working knowledge of FCPA, UK Bribery Act, Business Ethics & Compliance, Fair Market Value principles, and data privacy
  • Proven ability to work autonomously with sound judgment, knowing when to align with global stakeholders in a multinational environment
  • Advanced English proficiency with excellent communication and influence skills across all organizational levels
  • Cross-functional, business-oriented mindset with strong stakeholder management capabilities, assertiveness, and resilience

 

Nice to have:

  • Exposure to clinical, medical, or regulatory environments
  • Postgraduate studies in clinical trials, compliance certifications, experience with digital clinical tools, or broader LATAM exposure

This is not a purely technical legal role. We are looking for someone who can translate legal concepts into practical business guidance, working closely with stakeholders and adapting quickly to different topics.

 

A successful candidate will bring a balance between legal expertise and business understanding, with the ability to operate across multiple areas of the organization.
