Position Description

As a Legal & Compliance Clinical Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will:

  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies for clinical trials, including personal data protection.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate clinical trial contracts (e.g., sites, investigators, vendors) and adapt templates to local requirements.
  • Provide legal support and strategic advice, including guidance on budgets, FMV, grants, and donations related to clinical trials.
  • Monitor legal trends, deliver training to the clinical team, and ensure alignment with global policies and compliance strategies.
  • Implement KPIs for contract delivery and review internal processes to ensure full legal and compliance adherence.
  • Advise on BE & Compliance matters, patient recruitment initiatives, TPR due diligence, and feasibility assessments for recruitment strategies.

 

Required Qualifications

We realise that few people are experts at everything. But if you can nod your head at the following attributes, then you could be the person we are looking for:

  • University degree in Law or related. Relevant postgraduate degree or certification in compliance or business law is a plus.
  • Experienced and qualified lawyer (minimum 5+ years’ legal experience with at least 2 years in the clinical trials industry).
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical and clinical trials regulation and clinical trials business, with experience in Business Ethics and Compliance in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
  • Fluent English
