The Position
As a MAPA Business Operations Associate, you will:
- Oversee accounting processes, tax planning, internal controls, and financial risk mitigation while ensuring compliance.
- Manage end-to-end processing of corporate sponsorships and memberships in alignment with policies and guidelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (line managers, Ethics & Compliance, Legal) to evaluate, approve, and ensure compliance with FMV and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate financial records, manage contracts, and coordinate with external organizations to secure agreements and deliverables.
- Ensure accurate payment processing, GL expense recording, and timely financial close-out attestations for all sponsorship and membership activities.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in business operations, compliance, data management, or finance—preferably in a corporate environment.
- Advanced to fluent English (spoken and written).
- Experience using enterprise systems (SAP, Concur) and workflow management tools is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, attention to detail, and cross-functional collaboration.
