These requests involve handling data from healthcare “Real-World-Data” repositories such as Administrative Medical Claims, Electronic Health Records (EHRs), census data, healthcare survey data (e.g., CDC’s NHANES) as well as internal systems of record to conduct a diverse range of analyses, primarily using advanced SQL programming language.

The position
As an Advanced Analyst in Clinical Analytics, you will:

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver timely, actionable analytics solutions tailored to business goals.

Analyse complex datasets, applying real-world data science best practices to extract insights and inform decision-making.

Interpret and clearly communicate analytical findings to internal partners, highlighting key trends, patterns, and limitations with clarity and impact.

Support the development of scalable, future-ready analytics code and contribute to the establishment of new analytical standards and practices.

Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of data deliverables, maintaining alignment with project timelines and strategic objectives.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience in life sciences, technology, or related fields (advanced degree may substitute some experience).

Proficiency in SQL (preferably on large-scale databases like Snowflake); strong skills in R or Python are preferred, experience with both is a plus.

Familiarity with at least one of the following healthcare datasets is strongly preferred: IQVIA LAAD, Komodo Health dataset (KRD), Optum Clinformatics (CDM), Truven Marketscan (Merative), Forian, HealthVerity, Symphony (Icon), IQVIA AEMR; experience with large patient-level datasets (100M+ records) is a plus.

Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to deliver compelling data stories and insights; English proficiency desirable.

Intellectual curiosity, initiative, and creative problem-solving ability in unstructured environments; familiarity in one or more disease areas of interest to Novo Nordisk is a plus.
About the department
The position is based in Mexico City, where you will join a dynamic and collaborative team dedicated to driving clinical development activities. Our team is responsible for planning and executing clinical trials, investigating patient reactions to new drugs, and comparing them to existing treatments. We provide expertise in Biostatistics, Programming, Clinical Reporting, Data Management, Epidemiology/Real World Evidence, and Clinical Pharmacology to support development projects.
