About the Department

 

You will closely partner with Global internal stakeholders such ASL Public Affairs teams in different regions, as well as local teams in particular Commercial, Communication and Market Access. External stake holders consist of politicians, other government and industrial group members.

 


 

The Position
 

You will be in charge of the overall Public Affairs strategy and lead the creation of policies related to government and patient support systems from scratch. In addition, this role also covers involvement in patient groups, and successfully managing sustainability initiatives including but not limited to zero environmental impact and walk rallies. Main job tasks
 

  • Leads the Sustainability & Public Affairs team within the MAEA division
  • Develops and implements a Public Affairs strategy for NN Japan
  • Represents NN Japan within the global NN public affairs network
  • Represents NN Japan within the global NN public affairs network

 


 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • At least five years in a senior Public Affairs role within the Japanese pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience of managing teams and interacting with senior management in Japan and overseas
  • We also need someone who has advanced knowledge of Japanese government and healthcare policy, advanced knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, ability to build internal and external networks, strong project management skills, a positive, creative, flexible mindset, Strategic and critical thinking, ability to constructively challenge assumptions and directly influence others in a respectful manner
  • Excellent writing and speaking skills in Japanese, and has strong English skills, written and verbal
