The position
As a Public Affairs, Therapeutic Policy Specialist/Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Lead the research and strategic analysis of disease-related public policies.
- Establish and maintain high-level relationships with government agencies, industry associations, patient groups, and other policy-related external stakeholders. Additionally, collaborate and coordinate with related departments within the organisation to drive policy initiatives.
- Respond and adapt promptly to regulatory changes and provide strategic guidance.
- Monitor, analyse, and report on industry trends and market perceptions.
- Lead the planning and management of events and meetings, prepare and review policy proposals and reports, Deliver internal and external presentations on disease-related public policy.
Qualifications
- Must possess a bachelor’s degree or higher preferably in Public Relations, Politics, Business Management, Communications, Political Science, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry required.
- Proven experience in negotiating with government agencies, industry associations or academia groups required.
- Native level Japanese is required.
- Must have strong business English proficiency.
